April News from Miss Robin and Miss Quay

105 Happenings

In April we will be doing a lot of spring activities. We will talk about spring changes, weather, pets, farming and planting. We will also discuss how to keep the Earth healthy and clean. We will plant seeds indoors to see how they grow. Then, in the summer we will plant them in our garden outside. We are going to focus our cultural studies on the continents of Africa and then South America. If you have any pictures or items you would like your child to show to the class from these continents please let us know.

The teachers are getting ready for parent teacher conferences on April 28th and 29th. We are looking forward for the opportunity to share with you what your child has been learning. Be looking for conference signup sheets within the next week.

Thanks,
Miss Robin and Miss Quay

REMINDERS ☺

  • We do go outside every day unless it is raining, so please dress your children in clothes and outdoor wear according to the weather predicted for that day.  It is Spring now and there will be a lot of mud, so the children should wear shoes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty.
  • Please let your child try to dress themselves and put on their own shoes at home to reinforce what we are working on in the classroom.
