Room 104 News

Room 104 Families,

This week we celebrated the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  We talked about all the wonderful things he did and how our school would be different if he wasn't such a brave man.  We also discussed as a class how we could make a difference right here in our school.  They all had some pretty good ideas.  Be sure to stop in and check out our "I Have a Dream" board.

We have also began to write a "Good Citizen" pledge for our classroom; the children are helping to write it.  Once completed, this will be a pledge we will recite every morning to start our day. The line we have been practicing this week is:  "I will do the right thing, because it's the right thing to do."  Please practice this at home with your child.  Next week we will add another line to our pledge.

For some parents who may not have heard, my previous Co-Teacher Ms. Ronnie has moved to Texas,  we wish her well in her future en-devours, and appreciate everything she has done in this classroom.  We will be utilizing Mr. Veazy as a full time substitute until some one is hired.

Feel free to contact me here at the school with any questions or concerns you may have.

Ms. Kim
