Room 103 News

Hello Everyone,

We would like to share some of the awesome things that are taking place here in our classroom. We have been working on our Kente cloth for Black History month.  The children helped by coloring in a Kente pattern and we made our very own class Kente Cloth (which will be displayed on the hallway bulletin board).  We have been working on Africa, now we are diving into the animals of the Savanna!  Ask your child about the Savanna and they will make you feel as if you are there.  The class has even been working on famous African Americans such as. Garrett Augustus Morgan who invented the traffic light and we are going to focus on Martin Luther King a bit more as well.  The children's minds expand more and more every day as we work hard these last few weeks of school!  Thank you for all your support in everything we do in our classroom.
