What you need to know from 102

“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which    have the potential to turn a life around.”   Martin Luther King

We are having a Valentine’s Day Party on Tuesday morning.  Please have your child sign their name on their Valentine.  This is good practice for your child to work on writing their name.  Please put your child’s Valentine in a plastic bag on Tuesday with their name on it.  We have 20 children in our class, three teachers and on student teacher from Fort Wayne career Center.  Also, if you would like to bring in some treats for our party feel free to do so.  Remember they must be store bought and individually wrapped.

Your Valentine boxes you made at home are so wonderful!  You all are so creative. Thank you for taking the time to do that with your child.

Are your buckets still getting filled?  It is amazing to hear the children tell each other when their bucket it empty.  They work out the problem and find a solution and then their bucket is filled up again.  What a neat and awesome concept to grasp at such a young age that they can use the rest of their lives. Encourage them to fill your bucket each day!  I know my bucket is filled when I see them coming down the hall each morning.

Ms. Julia will be moving to Room 101 while Ms. Quay takes time off for maternity leave.  Ms. Julia will be missed; however, we know she will be back.  Good Luck Ms. Julia and come over for a visit.  Mr. Eric and Ms. Tracey will be in the room helping out starting on Monday, February 13, 2017.

Thanks for all the well wishes and the prayers during my surgery last week. As of now it looks like everything went well!  Thanks for being AWESOME parents, and caregivers of these children in Room 102.

Have a great week,

Ms. Stacey and Ms. Julia
